The Fear of Emotions.

 


Hey you,

I'm writing this with a smile spread across my face.

Lots of times when experiencing the happy times filled with positive emotions, we get so immersed that we end up wishing that they'd last forever. But do they?

Most are short and sweet, then we fall back to the neutral or sad phases. As life tends to be very dynamic, with its many unprecedented events. 

This alternating trend of the happy, neutral and sad times end up making us almost or even afraid of the sad times. We try finding ways of to lengthen the happy times and the sad times almost start feeling like the default setting of our lives. Hmm....If only there was a way in which we could bypass this cycle. Well, there actually is and to get there, let's first understand the nature of emotions. 

Emotions are the mind's way of feeling the world, the same you would feel a surface as hot either hot or cold. The mind responds to this situation as joyous, that other one as sombre and so on. Try remembering that one happy memory for a second or two... congratulations on extending the invisible tentacles of your mind! Hehe.

Now this is how we move in our daily lives, do not be afraid of where you've reached in your journey. Just recognise it and continue moving forwards. Such is the nature of the world. The same way that you can spot a dark cloud up in the sky. 

Understanding this will help you in easing the constant confusion, by helping your mind and in extension your body in recognising the situations currently at hand. This puts you incharge of your mind, then your response to life. You'll enjoy it, living life consciously.

Hello there, hoping that you're having a good time!  If you are new to naturism, you may wonder to yourself, " Butt how do I go about it? Do I cannon ball right into the deep end or first begin with swimming the shallow end of the nude pool?
